Reflections from Week One

It’s been easier to ride in flat Delaware. It has designated bike lanes and respectful drivers.

While we love the rural place where we live in New Jersey, it is dangerous to ride on these country roads. And it’s boring to ride around a cul-de-sac for miles! Whenever I feel challenged – either by the route or the traffic or the road or my aching body-I think of the kids and their families-the uncertainty, the painful procedures and a fractured childhood. I just keep pedaling.❤️

I picture their faces. I imagine their parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles and siblings and the roller coaster of emotions from such a diagnosis. We have to discover more promising treatments for them! Thanks for your support!
