This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death in children in the United States. Over 15,700 kids are diagnosed every year, and heartbreakingly, 38 children lose their battle with cancer each week.

I’m cycling for my daughter, Kylie. In February 2022, she was diagnosed with stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma. She completed 30 weeks of frontline chemotherapy and 7 weeks of radiation before transitioning to a year of maintenance chemo. After 14 months in remission, Kylie relapsed in January 2025. She has just finished cycle 9 of relapse chemotherapy and will soon begin maintenance chemotherapy again.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. That’s why I’m raising funds to support the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, helping them continue their vital work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
