My Story

30 Aug 2025

Did you know that ~ 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday? Thanks to treatment advances, roughly 85% will survive. As a breast cancer survivor I know how challenging treatment can be. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and I ride to support kids around the world who need our help.

Children's Cancer Research Fund is highly rated by Charity Navigator, receiving a score of 97 in accountability and transparency. Join me this September by making a donation through the Great Cycle Challenge. Will you ride with me?

I've ridden for the past 8 years and was inspired by a student, Caden Shrauger, who was one of the Bozeman 3 (children with blood cancer diagnosed before they were even a kinder). His parents consider him a miracle and attribute his survival to organizations like this one who work hard to prevent and cure childhood cancer.
