My Story

This September 2025, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I have completed 4 years riding the Great Cycle Challenge. This is my 5th year riding this campaign. Since 2021, I have raised almost $5,000. This year I want to bump that total by 50%. My stretch goal for donations is $2,500 this year!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

The first ride of my Challange

Visiting Johnstown Ohio, I rode part of the TJ Evans trail. I clipped in after work and got started just before 7.

Beautiful trail thru woods and farms in Central Ohio. Rode till sunset.. which was gorgeous. Met bikers, walkers, pups, several horse and a cat! Still, thoughts of kids in a hospital fighting cancer were on my mind.

Close to $1,000 donated on my goal of $2,500! 15 miles done
