My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Another Year of supporting the Great Cycle Challenge
2 Sep 2025There’s nothing I’d rather do in September, other than cycling to complete 300-400mls and encouraging y’all, to donate what you can, in support of Kids Cancer Research. My goal this year is $1,000 but that will increase as I close in on my Goal.
Riding my bike in September, is different to doing it during any other Month. There’s a purpose behind it, it’s for the kids, and focusing on that helps me go longer. Every mile helps me too, as it’s a form of therapy for me. While every $ I encourage you to donate, helps the kids.
Thank you for what you’ve done todate, your generosity knows no bounds and it restores my faith in humanity, especially in this environment that we live in today.

Cycling Helps me, help the Children 🚴♀️
1 Jul 2025I used to run Marathons, 1/2 marathons, 10ks, 5ks and loved it all, until I had 5 meniscus surgeries and a partial replacement on my right knee. Then I went straight to a partial on my left knee. That ended my running…….So I took up Cycling.
I love to bike, mostly on my own, as I love how it challenges me when I get over 30mls. It also acts as therapy for me and clears my thoughts on every ride.
To ride in support of Children’s Cancer Research through GCC, is a bonus to doing something I love for the lives of Children. I hope you can support me in this endeavor.
