My dad ✝️

Twenty-two years ago in September, my dad lost his battle with cancer. Seeing the rapid progression of this awful disease and how cancer takes over a person’s body is heartbreaking. In the last couple of years, I’ve had a handful of friends get diagnosed with cancer and all are doing well - I believe this is because continued research in treatments are giving more people a fighting chance.

This September, I enter my 5TH YEAR in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be having fun and living life, not fighting for it.

So I am taking part in this event to create awareness, raise funds through my challenge, and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
