In September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

I decided to scout out new areas to ride in as I have moved closer to downtown, just west on Broadway, I have ridden on New Burg, past the High School and further out past the Parkinson's Farm ( or what was). SOme beautiful homes built out there, Anyway, I ride past where you grew up....I think the address is 3143 New Burg. But, I'm pretty sure I have the right house. I'll take a picture. That's probably the main route i'll ride during September. It's very pretty out there and the road is in great shape with few cars....at least when I ride. Thank you so much for your support and trust you are well. Very sorry to hear about your mother, but, what a wonderfu; long fulfilled life she led. Be well, Kim”
