Denise Lynn Pavlic
Denise is the sister of a good friend of mine. Denise lost her battle with Leukemia when she was 8 1/2 years old. She is remembered and lives on through her sister.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Ultimate Sports Show-Carving for the Kids!
17 Mar 2026I started this year’s fundraising at the Ultimate Sports Show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, March 12-15. The wood carving group that I belong to, The Woodland Carvers have an exhibit room where we carve,sell, and promote woodcarving. Had a great time promoting wood carving and The Great Cycle Challenge and selling a few Christmas ornaments to Help Fight Kids’ Cancer! Thanks to all who donated! $127.00 dollars raised!😀
