Tyffie Hobbs

This beautiful soul is my Aunt Tyffie. I spent a lot of time with her when I was growing up. I would visit with her during holidays, family reunions, and when they were hard at work in the fields of their nursery. She always took the time to teach me about horticulture, and the family business that started with my Grandmother. She was a strong, beautiful, and compassionate woman of faith who would do anything to help family, friends, and strangers alike. She was diagnosed with an advanced inoperable cancer and sadly passed away last year August 26th, 2024. I'm honored to be riding this year in her memory to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for this terrible disease. This challenge is for children's cancer research, but the research and breakthroughs that we find can help people of all ages. Let's fight this together!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
