My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    Woke up this morning and did my exercises and then I hopped on my bike and rode five and a half miles to work which means I have to ride five and a half miles home so stay tuned I might make another little entry about my drive home. It was a little scary going over the highway this morning but all in all I made it through

    I got up this morning and road to Fox lake Park which is for miles it was a beautiful day and then I rode 4 miles back home it started raining a bit but it wasn't too bad and then I went off to work I didn't get a chance to ride anymore but that's okay tomorrow is another day

    Today was my first day riding.

    I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger than me and this is my opportunity.

    I am truly grateful 🙏🏻 to be a part of this beautiful team.

    I rode 12 miles today and raised 35$ .

    I don't usually do this much riding or often, so I'm looking forward to the progress. I didn't see anyone else representing today but I do look forward to meeting like minded riders very soon 😁
