This September will be my fourth year taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Children should be living their lives, not fighting for it. I am taking part in this challenge to give them hope and to reassure them that they are not alone in their struggle.

I am riding in memory of a fellow student and dear friend, Isabella Auer, who bravely battled DIPG, an untreatable brain cancer, for a year and passed at the young age of seventeen. Among her friends, she is known as the Girl with the Golden Heart.💛

I am also riding in memory of my Aunt Deb who passed away in August 2025. Her strength was a constant inspiration to her family and friends.

This year, I ride for my Aunt, & for Ella, and for all other lives lost to cancer, in hopes that one day, children won't have to fight where they should be living. There was no cure for the kind of cancer Isabella and Aunt Debbie had - my hope is that a treatment will be found for all those cancers for which there is no remedy.
