This September, I’m taking on the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I actually did this ride 10 years ago, and since I just got another bike — and haven’t really ridden since Ironman 2016 — I thought this would be the perfect way to motivate myself to get back out there, while also doing something meaningful to help save kids’ lives.

Why this challenge matters: cancer is still the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 kids are diagnosed every year, and tragically, 38 children lose their lives to cancer every single week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Through this challenge, I’m raising funds to support the Children’s Cancer Research Fund so they can continue their critical work — developing lifesaving treatments and ultimately finding a cure.
