I'm Riding For
Dalton

Dalton can teach us all the values of a positive attitude and perseverance. He's battled leukemia and finished treatment but continues to battle side effects of the treatments! He just graduated high school and is moving on to advanced training!
My Story
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
From a personal standpoint, we are still riding for Dalton - he's a senior in high school now - but it was research like this that got him to that point!
From a professional standpoint, as a pediatrician, I am honored to help families raise their children. I love seeing them year after year at their check-ups and seeing them realize their potential as adults, and of course, treating and curing diseases is rewarding too! However, the part of my job that puts a knot in my stomach is making the diagnosis of cancer. I can help get patients to the right treatment, ameliorate side effects, and support them through grief, but sometimes even that isn’t enough. This ride is a chance to do more!
Help me support Children's Cancer Research Fund to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Your support WILL make a difference in children’s lives! Thank you!
